Here's a list of the nights I have run in the past
leading up to what I am currently running....

REALMS OF DARKNESS
I started this project in 1998 in a pub
(The Central Hotel) in Birkenhead. From then on it
went from strength to strength and steadily
progressed. Various locations included the Boothill
Saloon and Stairways in Birkenhead.
Included various theme nights such as Rocky Horror, Vamps and Victims, Horror film stars, etc.
Bands included Killing Miranda, Inkubus Sukkubus,
Squid, Zombina + the Skeletones and Narcissus Pool.
Unfortunatley had to finish it when I moved to York.

THE ABYSS:
Held at the Masque in Liverpool this one was a short
lived project of about 3 months due to the venue's
crap organisation and double booking loads of my
nights (pity as it was really good for live bands)
This was more of a general metal/alternative/goth
night which worked well, particuarly when I had the
bands on. eg. Squid, Diamanthian, Nightmare Visions,
Sacculas, Hecate Enthroned etc...

DARKLANDS:
My 3rd project started Feb 2002.
Started off in Stairways and ran for a year before I moved to York. A few Darklands live gigs went on in the Zanzibar in Liverpool. Bands included The Last Days of Jesus, Killing Miranda, Malaise, Squid, All Living Fear, Saints of Eden, Conspiracy and Sykotic Tendencies.

Darklands, now running in both York (the Junction), and Wirral (the Hotel California)
Bands have included Screaming Banshee Aircrew, 616 Abortions, Undying Legacy, Sleeping Children, Lizard Smile, Psydoll, Uninvited Guest, Razor Blade Kisses,
The Way of all Flesh, Rhombus, All Gone Dead, V2A, Deviant UK, The Cruxshadows, Global Citizen,
Pink Hearse, Uberbyte, Sins of the Flesh, The Sisters of Murphy, Voices of Masada, John Merricks Remains,
Heilige Lance, The Royal Dead, Lupine. The Realm, Violet Vortex.

MIDIAN:
Started April 2002 in Liverpool. I was approached by a great guy named Tags for this one. All running of the event was on his part and I just did the dj'ing. This made a nice change as there was no pressure or stress of the
organisation. (good when I already ran 2 other nights!)
Dj Aesthetik took over on my departure for York.

ENSHROUDED
Joined up in feb 2004 with body electric dj's Simon A
and Von Suhl to do a monthly midweek night.
Now changed venue and name to.....

SHADOWPLAY
The new takeover night from Enshrouded started in Jan
2005, with myself and Simon_A taking to the decks every last monday, monthly. Unfortunatly not involved any more due to other commitments.

Jared has featured in issues 13 and 16 of
Meltdown magazine, issue 2 of Unscene
and played keyboard for the now disbanded goth-industro-noise band 616 Abortions.

Available for guest dj slots and also as a dj for private parties.

Fave song: Far too many good songs to choose from and it frequently changes too.

Resides: The historic city of York.

Likes: Hammer Horror, occult / witchcraft and paganism, ninjutsu, kenjutsu, naginata-do, samurai swords, Asian horror, Japanese culture, my hearse, getting free cd's ;)

Dislikes: Not many apart from liver and crabsticks... Oh and football, I deteste football!!!
